Anniversary

Unbelievable ! Again the day has arrived.

And together so far we have dived.

It’s true,opposites attract.

This is the most experienced fact.

There’s no depth, yet it is deeper.

Things are to be understood,  to be happier.

He goes left, I go right.

For differences in opinion , we do have fights.

He is more religious, I am more spiritual.

He smiles with care , laughing is my ritual.

He is gifted with unlimited patience, I am not.

I lack wisdom, sensible he is a lot.

So many differences yet to be told,

Still, get along, life is to behold.

I seek for his support,

He desires tolerance.

I wish he could pamper,

Sometimes with a gift hamper.

But,that wouldn’t be he,

if he changes for me.

We hardly demand attention.

There’s no need of pretension.

Liberty to live,

Is the most beautiful gift.

It’s 19 years having passed,

and many more moments, yet to be grasped.

20th, 21st and so on,

Mend the torn and move on.
