Communalism

An attempt to construct their own identity,

considering their deity to be more strong,

violent against another community,

why can’t humans just get along?

Community differences everywhere.

Riots prevail since many years.

Enraged society with furious eyes,

Fight for religion, while millions cry.

Can’t we be ordinary human beings?

Can’t we unite as one, with same motif ?

A motive to make the world a paradise,

A paradise to live in peace.

Can’t we have one religion?

The religion of faith and love.

Even God is disheartened,

When he sees the differences from above.

If we respect the precation of every person,

Practices and traditions , of all religion,

without hurting their devine sentiments,

Somehow ,communalism can come to an end.

When the siblings split up,

The mother whimpers to a great extent.

And so does the Supreme power,

When his children just pretend.

We pretend to be his disciple,

his messages are quite aloud.

If we listen to our inner voice,

We aren’t makin him proud.

We celebrate the victory of one’s choice over the other ,

Though , there’s collision atwix brother and brother.

Victorious is the one, who wins none.

He belongs to the world, the world he cannot shatter.
